Author Guidelines

JEBIM : Jurnal Ekonomi, Bisnis, dan Manajemen welcomes original research articles, review articles, and case studies in the fields of economics, business, and management. Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English or Bahasa Indonesia. For international visibility, the title, abstract, and keywords must be provided in English.

1. General Requirements

  • Authors must use the official JEBIM journal template. Two equivalent options are available:
  • Submit the manuscript as a PDF exported from the template, accompanied by the editable source file (Typst or Word) when requested by the editor.
  • The manuscript length should be 6-12 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
  • To support double-blind peer review, the main manuscript file must not contain author names, affiliations, or other identifying information.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must follow the structure provided in the official template:

  • Title: Concise and informative, preferably no more than 15 words.
  • Abstract: 150-250 words in one self-contained paragraph (background, objective, method, main results, conclusion). Do not include citations, undefined abbreviations, tables, figures, or equations.
  • Keywords: 3-6 keywords separated by semicolons.
  • Introduction: Background, problem statement, literature context, research gap, and objective.
  • Methods: Research design, data collection, instruments or algorithms, and analysis procedures.
  • Results and Discussion: Findings and their significance relative to previous studies.
  • Conclusion: Main findings, limitations, and suggestions for future research.
  • CRediT Authorship Contribution Statement: Describe each author's specific contributions.
  • Declaration of Competing Interest: Disclose any competing financial or personal interests, or state that none exist.
  • Ethics Statement: State whether the study involved human or animal subjects and provide ethics approval details if applicable.
  • Funding: Identify funding sources and grant numbers, or state that no specific funding was received.
  • Acknowledgement: Acknowledge contributors who do not qualify for authorship.
  • Data Availability: Provide an appropriate data availability statement for the study.
  • References: Complete list of cited sources.

3. Figures and Tables

  • All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.
  • Tables should have titles above the table; figure captions below the figure.
  • Images should be of sufficient quality and resolution for publication.

4. Citations and References

  • JEBIM uses the IEEE reference style with numbered citations in square brackets.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero.
  • References should be complete, accurate, and consistently formatted.

5. Open Access and Copyright

This journal is open access. All articles are freely available immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors retain rights under the applicable license and grant the journal the right to publish the work.

6. Peer Review

All manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process based on originality, scientific quality, relevance to the journal scope, and clarity of presentation.

7. Fees

JEBIM does not charge any submission or article processing fees. Please refer to the Author Fee page for details.

8. Ethics and Originality

Authors are responsible for ensuring the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, or unethical publication practice is not accepted.
