Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to INFOTERA undergo a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

Review Stages

  1. Initial Editorial Check (3-7 days)
The Editor-in-Chief evaluates the manuscript for scope suitability, formatting, and similarity screening. Manuscripts exceeding the similarity threshold or outside the journal scope are rejected at this stage.
  2. Double-Blind Review (3-6 weeks)
The manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers assess originality, methodological rigor, significance of results, clarity, and relevance to the journal scope.
  3. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers' recommendations, the editor issues one of the following: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
  4. Revision and Final Decision
Authors revise according to reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be re-reviewed before a final acceptance decision is made.

The estimated time from submission to first decision is approximately 4-8 weeks. Final editorial authority rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
