Author Guidelines
INFOTERA: Journal of Integrated Information Systems welcomes original research articles, review articles, and case studies in the field of integrated information systems. Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English or Bahasa Indonesia. For international visibility, the title, abstract, and keywords must be provided in English.
1. General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- The manuscript length should be 6–12 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
- Authors must use the official INFOTERA journal template.
- To support double-blind peer review, the main manuscript file must not contain author names, affiliations, or other identifying information.
2. Manuscript Structure
- Title: Concise and informative, preferably no more than 15 words.
- Abstract: 150–250 words in one paragraph, containing background, objective, method, main results, and conclusion.
- Keywords: 3–5 keywords separated by semicolons.
- Introduction: Background, problem statement, literature context, research gap, and research objective.
- Methodology: Research design, data collection, and analysis procedures.
- Results and Discussion: Presentation of findings and discussion of their significance in relation to previous studies.
- Conclusion: Main findings, limitations, and suggestions for future research.
- References: Complete list of cited sources.
3. Figures and Tables
- All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.
- Tables should have titles above the table.
- Figure captions should be placed below the figure.
- Images should be of sufficient quality and resolution for publication.
4. Citations and References
- INFOTERA uses the IEEE reference style with numbered citations in square brackets.
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero.
- References should be complete, accurate, and consistently formatted.
5. Open Access and Copyright
This journal is an open access journal. All published articles are freely available immediately upon publication without subscription or access fees. The journal uses the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors retain the rights stated under the applicable license and grant the journal the right to publish the work.
6. Peer Review
All submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scientific quality, relevance to the journal scope, and clarity of presentation.
7. Fees
Any article processing charges, if applicable, will be clearly stated on the journal website before submission. If no fees are charged, this will also be stated clearly.
8. Ethics and Originality
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Any form of plagiarism, duplicate submission, or unethical publication practice is not accepted.
